Marinated Chicken/Steak

1 1/2 pound flank steak, or chicken breasts

1/2 cup apple juice or orange juice

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup soy suace

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 clv garlic minced

1/2 tsp ginger

1/2 onion sliced or chopped

Mix all ingredients (not including the meat) together.   Place meat in a air tight container or a ziploc bag.  Pour marinade over meat.  Marinade for at least 4 to 8 hours.  Place meat on skewers and grill.  You can either the cut the meat into chunks or slice diagonally and thread onto the bamboo sticks.
